We were in classes all day, and had no excursion. Since I wanted to play this weekend, I turned in our paper on Friday, leaving my night completely open to study, explore, and sleep.
After a little bit of studying I ventured over to Historico Central/ Zocalo, and walked around there for a few hours. I was still recovering from an intense three days of hiking, so I wasn't walking super fast, nor was I really buying anything. As much as I would like to have another shirt down here, everything I found was a little too hipster for me. Which surprises me. I don't know why. It's not like I expected them to wear panchos and sombreros still… I just wasn't expecting there to be so many trendy/ hipster stores.
After some rather unique stops I found a little restaurant and had a wonderfully delicious and cheap meal. Which was then my mark to head home and go to bed. I often forget how incredible it feels to go to bed at 9:30pm, and wish I could do it more. Maybe I should work faster…
